Our commitment to Health & Safety is evidenced by our founder membership of the Eastern Builders Safety Group, (EBSG) which is the largest independent training group in Eastern England and is sponsored by both the National Federation of Builders (NFB) and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). EBSG provides:

• Site visits by qualified Safety Advisers for the sole purpose of safety audits
• Annual checks of all company workplaces and equipment
• Regular communications regarding developments in safety related matters and new legislation
• Organisation of training courses for all grades of staff in First Aid, Welfare & Safety issues
• Monitoring and measurement of H&S performance within the context of zero accidents

T&B is also a member of the British Safety Council and is CHAS Accredited. We promote a positive and pro-active Health & Safety culture throughout the company.

The company’s Health & Safety Policy has been developed, encompassing the CDM regulations, and is used as the definitive working document regarding Safety. The management of Health & Safety is an integral part of our ISO 9001:2000 Quality System approved by BSI.

We are extremely proud of our impressive safety record and are always striving to improve on this. We are currently working towards achieving accreditation to ISO 18001 through BSI, which should be in place during 2006.
