Charity Corner
The 2010 London Marathon is this year being sponsored by Virgin Media and CLIC Sargent.
CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity. The Homes from Home project offers families free self-catering accommodation close to the main regional children’s cancer centres.
T&B are currently on site at 62-66 Huntley Street working on a £1m refurbishment project of 3 town houses as part of the Homes from Home project. We have had specialist hoardings printed up and have painted the container on the gantry bright pink which is the Charity’s signature colour.
To show our support for CLIC Sargent T&B have entered 3 runners into this year’s race. Mark Hester, Kevin O’Dell and Rob Wishart are all currently in training and looking to raise money for the charity.
We would like to wish them all the best with the fund raising, training and race.
