At the end of July, our City Works Division completed the complete refurbishment of Bessborough Street Nursery located in Pimlico for Westminster City Council.

The existing building was run-down and in an extremely poor condition before works began. Over the 12 month contract, our project management team worked closely with Ingleton wood to perform a complete transformation to an impressive new nursery building.

The internal and external refurbishment works throughout the building from the basement up to the 3rd level consisted of: 

• Piling, waterproofing
• Structural and non-structural alterations
• Renewal of windows and roof covering
• Full internal fixtures and decorations

Everyone involved was thrilled with the outcome and with the way in which the project was conducted. Praises are awarded to the City Works team lead by Alan Darrah along with Contract Coordinator, Carl Dolling and Site Manager, Dave Rosemond.
